Atlantis Marine Solutions is a marine construction and structural rehabilitation contractor based in South Florida. We build, repair and rehabilitate the structures that stand in the water: seawalls, piles, docks and decks, and the structure under waterfront buildings. Most of that work, dredging included, is done from the water, from a self-propelled barge that brings the crew, the crane and the materials to the structure.
On land, the same people take on general construction under the trade name AMS Construction. The electrical and mechanical side of marine projects is part of the work too.
What we stand for
-
Safety
Cranes, divers and heavy loads over open water leave no room for shortcuts. Safe work comes before fast work.
-
Quality
Repairs and new structures that are meant to stand up to salt water, tides and the next storm season.
-
The water itself
We work inside Florida's waterways, so we treat them as something to look after, not as a site to clear.
-
After the storm
Part of the mission is helping communities in the Gulf region rebuild after hurricanes and other natural disasters.
Who we work with
Five kinds of clients bring us most of the work. Each one needs something a little different from a marine crew.
-
Marinas and yacht clubs
Piles, docks and seawalls that keep the slips in use, with the basin kept working around the job.
-
Property managers
One crew for the structure, the wall and the dock, with the work scheduled around the people who use the building.
-
Condominiums and hotels
Structural repair under a building people live or stay in, done while residents and guests stay put.
-
Private owners
A dock, deck or seawall built or put right without turning the waterfront into a building site.
-
Engineers and contractors
A marine crew and a work barge for the part of a larger project that stands in the water.
How we work
-
From the water
A self-propelled work barge carries the crew, the crane and the materials to the structure, so most of the work stays off the lot, the lobby and the lawn.
-
Site review first
A job starts with a look at the structure in person, along with the location and any photos or drawings you can share.
-
Confirmed for each job
Scope, engineering and permits are worked out and confirmed for each job before work begins, because every structure and site is different.
